About Saint George International
Saint George International is one of the longest established language training centre in central London.
Founded in 1962, it has become a recognised centre of excellence for foreign as well as English language teaching. Our fully equipped Business Language Centre is located in Margaret Street, within a short walking distance of Oxford Circus and close to main London underground and bus routes.
We pride ourselves on the flexibility and ‘can-do’ attitude of our staff. Our aim is to meet and surpass the expectations of our clients in fulfilling all their language training requirements giving a professional and quick response to all the queries and needs of our clients.
In a world where technology enables instant communication on a global scale, the ability to speak a foreign language retains its validity and relevance. Indeed, in today’s global market, speaking the customer’s language and understanding their cultural background very often makes the difference. At Saint George International we have over 40 years experience of helping companies break communication and cultural barriers. Our approach allows participants to enjoy and embrace a different way of learning. Whilst the development of effective communication skills through active oral practice in the language is a key element of all these courses, a solid grounding in the structure of the language is an integral part of the learning process.
Our trainers are always native speakers seeking to strengthen and develop the students' communicative competence through systematic grammatical input and vocabulary extension. The teaching is done in the target language, incorporating a careful balance of functional, topical and lexical input and paying attention to accuracy and appropriacy at every level.
